I now hold in my hand a 5-year, non-biometric Russian passport under my name. I'm happy....but not happy. Not happy because the journey's not over yet!

Internal passport is next....then who knows? Le sigh. Maybe I should have just renounced citizenship & gotten visas all the time. Nah, that's a whole 'nother headache.
