Well, POUGs on tickets with domestic feeders were only introduced relatively recently (around the start of this year I think). Since then I've been offered quite a few WT --> WT+ POUGs on long hauls with domestic feeders. Most recently, last week, was a £149 WT --> WT+ POUG on a MAN-LHR-IAH.
