I would be really sad if this ends up in chapter 7. partly because I've been loyal to AA, have status and miles and would hate to lose those, but also for sentimental reasons, having flown AA my entire life. those planes are my home away from home.
it does seem like a majority of pilots are not participating in the unsanctioned job actions these past few days. it's a shame that those who are showing up and making the best effort to safely get flights to their destinations on time, are going to be lumped in with those who wish to sabotage AA credibility and reliability. AA management needs to respond quickly to get this under control before the thanksgiving travel period, or the media is really going to have a field day with this.
the question is, can these pilots be reasoned with? are they do resentful at management they will cut their nose to spite their face? this is a really frustrating thing to watch.
