Isn't it probable, very likely, information as to what impact if any commissions paid via an affiliate link has on the bidding process would be considered a trade secret?

IF coolwulf is right...I'll speculate this issue may come up when your bid is about at or even just below the hotel's applicable PL rate. PL might be willing to to subsidize your bid out of their fee but not if PL is also paying an affiliate.
