It's my first time posting, so please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

I'll be flying SKG->FCO->LAX in a few days. The flight numbers are AZ 733 and AZ 620. I'm wondering, if I buy alcohol duty-free at SKG, will Alitalia carry it through to LA? And if not, does anybody know if I will need to go through security in Rome? (I tried finding gate info, but wasn't able to.) Thanks for any help or advice!
