I think it would be fair to assume that Priceline considers that when it books a room that this transaction is called a booking, whether the price is set by bidding or listing. On the open site, it is obvious what the price is by either route since you can go in through an affiliate or directly and see for yourself. Also, one would assume that the Priceline representative had read the thread before posting and would not respond to a question that wasn't asked.
