Of the properties I mentioned, the Riffelalp is right on the slopes above Zermatt so definitely ski-in/ski-out, while both Suvretta House and the Tschuggen have their own ski lifts(!) Altapura also claims to be ski-in/ski-out, and I assume that the properties in Courchevel mentioned above are as well.

Have not stayed at either the Omnia or the Matterhorn Focus. Although they were both conceived by Heinz Julen (the local "superstar" artist/gallery owner etc.), the 2 properties don't have that much in common. The Omnia is a full-service resort set right above the village of Zermatt with direct access to town, while the Matterhorn Focus is an upscale B&B set about a 15 minute walk from town right by the Matterhorn Express cablecar station.
