Unfortunate Experience w/Google Chrome & AA.COM

Hello:

I am scheduled to fly tomorrow on #508 from MIA to LGA and had requested an upgrade when I purchased the ticket. As you know, when an upgrade does not clear at an earlier point (76 hours for Platinums), the traveler is asked if he/she wishes to be put in the queue for possible upgrade within the next 24 hours or at the Gate. In that way, one, on paper, has a better chance of being higher on the standby list at the airport.

When I checked in online today, however, the link asking if I wish to be put on the queue did NOT appear and the website said that I was checked in but would have to get a boarding pass at the airport (not a problem). I called Web Services and spoke with an agent who informed me that the error probably occurred because I was using the Google Chrome Browser and AA.COM is experiencing difficulties with Chrome. The agent could not put me on the queue (once I checked in, they cannot do anything to the reservation) but she said that she would inform AA about my inconvenience. I'm sure that both Crandall and Horton will call me within the hour.

In the future, I will check in on all of my flights on either IE or Firefox as AA.COM seems to encounter many problems with Chrome. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Chrome? (By the way, I did a search but found nothing under "Chrome").

Thanks.
