Yeah, stick to the Westin for sure. They def upgrade you to exec floor as gold, and I do think they pay more attention to the rooms on the exec floors in terms of housekeeping etc. The exec lounge staff are very friendly, and almost no turnover, so you get to know them.
My impression from colleagues is that Westin is #1 or #2 hotel in town today, depending on how you view the new Intercontinental. I've stayed at Sofitel, Intercon. and a few others, and I'd put Westin at the top, even if there are a few bumps in the road from time to time.
Roger that, plan to visit again in 2013. I do notice turnover is high for the frontdesk staff. So far have only seen 3 familiar faces there; lady in lobby dining area, lady in lobby lounge, and a concierge guy.
I don't see much benefits in Priority Club so I've never had the chance to try the IC.
