We'll probably take the overnight train or fly, but looking to explore all options. It would be a one-way car rental, if available. Anyone with experience/advice on driving Chiang Mai to Bangkok? Looks like a 10+ hour drive. Anything interesting to see, or is there a good place to stop overnight halfway through?
