if you really want J class, pay for it... that's what I am doing for my next flight, i'm taking my 23mth old baby plus 6mth pregnant wife to TPE just to enjoy their J fares... I never try to hope/plan/wish/beg for op-ups. they are nice bonus if they occur, but even during my 11 years as gold/silver I never taken them for granted.
