I am currently based in AMS which is being dominated by KLM: not the best place for *A and AC in particular. I do not fly with AC that often, so I need to see what my options are to switch to another FFP.
(1) What is your home airport?
- AMS
(2) What types of fares do you usually buy?
- Economy
(3) How many miles do you usually fly each year?
- 100K+, but not always with *A
(4) Do you have any kind of status at present? What is it?
- AC Elit
(5) What is most important to you in a FFP?
- The most important is to easily redeem the miles for flights: I prefer easy online booking.
(6) Which routes do you fly most often?
- AMS to USA destinations like MIA, SEA, ORD, PHL, SFO (probably 1/4 or 1/3 of all my travel), AMS-SIN, AMS-KBP, AMS-DXB, AMS-YVR, AMS-YYZ.
(7) Preferred Airlines:
- SG, LH, UA
(8) Do you travel for work or pleasure?
- work 80% of my flights
I've been doing some research and figured that getting *AG with someone like Aegean is not crucial for me: I will receive it essentially with majors like UA. SG's KrisFlyer is not an option since they require to write a fax every time you want to redeem with partner airways. I'm guessing that UAMP is my best bet but not sure if FFP of TK or OZ will work as well? What do you think?
Thank you!
I would go with UAMP because it's not easy to book awards with OZ. Not sure about TK but UAMP is one of the easiest FFPs when it comes to award booking. *A also serves a majority of the routes that you typically fly.
BTW, Singapore Air is SQ not SG
