Women have been sewing pockets into garments for eons. It is not uncommon for full skirts to have all sorts of pockets, but the original clever pocket woman were nuns/sisters of old who were not allowed to carry a bag in their hands.

There are many products with hidden pockets sold online including the famous Scottevest ones, but I prefer to do my own creating and sewing.
