Anyway I often use taxis and even on the worst day it took under 2 hours the m25 was shut but the taxi driver did know the back roads.
I would be more concerned that the jersey flight is late, as you know it often is. If you land after the 3 hour minimum BA will defiantly put you up and rebook if needed, i made a connection with just under 2 hours on the clock as we left lgw on the way to lhr.

But you should make it, what day are you travelling......don't say Friday! Worst day of he week on the M25 at that time.
Guess what, it's a Friday! The worrying thing is- I need to be in Newcastle for saturday morning, and the first flight is at 0955 if anything went wrong. Might book BE via SOU, but that is stupidly expensive (£100 more) and I want to avoid BE whenever possible!!

If BA didn't consider JER a uk destination despite the CE cabin you would be able to connect at LGW JER-LGW-NCL using the BA codeshare on flymaybe.

Sadly for some reason you can't connect BA domestic to BA codeshare on BE, nicci was looking into it as I wanted to do NQY-LGW-JER with the first leg on a BA codeshare.

It's annoying to say the least as if you flew same distance say AMS-LGW-NCL you can book no problem using the codeshares.
