parnel, what are you on?!?

This current issue has to do with the mechanics of the last union elections. The bargaining unit is standing behing the agreement that they reached with management and they are continuing to recommend its ratification by the membership.

If this was as you set it out to be, the bargaining unit would be looking to scrap the negotiated deal and return to the table.

Next time you are going to offer union bashing commentary, at least ensure that you have read the original story first.

I have reached my opinion by talking to FA's on my many numerous,at least six segements a week recently, and they all complain that the separation issue causes lots of pain and the union is paralyzed over it.So guess who pays when the union can't get their act together for the employer. The union agreement is one thing;making it work on a unified basis is more difficult than it seems apparantly.

Yes, I am an unabashed union hater and have been very upfront about it since I started posting on FT.I am that way because I see daily in many sectors the harm unions now bring to our economy by their featherbedding tactics and lack of control over their own leadership.Judy Darcy is one of the worst at this game. She has a bully pulpit and uses it well.If the playing field were level for the employer things would be different. But we do live in a socialist utopia.
