I did Iceland last year from YYT. Had to route through Toronto then Boston, but it was because I had to go on a Sunday. Icelandair used to run a flight out of Halifax to Reykjavik four days a week. Don't know if they still do. Most expensive part of your trip will be the hop across the Bay of Fundy on the Air Georgian Beech!
