You shouldn't even ask about anything else, just be happy that you got a free pass and have fun with it.

It is not about people who replied took it seriously, it is about your atitude that even multiple people told you no, you still seem relentless about it.

And by saying you are going to call the employee travel center to find out the answer, that already sound like you are going to cause major trouble to your friend. Bottom line, you are not even an employee, the person on the line will probably think that you must have bought that pass from someone, as the person that you got the pass from should already tell you all the T&C.
