I emailed 1KVoice on Monday asking for my Oct 2012 GPUS (6) to be extended through the end of the year for some intl travel I'm planning for Nov and Dec. I'd not had a response as of today but then received a call from a "Blocked" number on my cell. I let it go to VM and when I listened, it was a CS Manager (not rep) from UAL Chicago calling to personally let me know that they had extended my GPU validity until 12/3/12 and to apologize for the delay in getting back to me. She then said that UA appreciates the fact that I'm a 1K and that they want to continue to earn my business.

I must say, in the past 12 years of flying exclusively UA I've NEVER had a personal phone call from the airline. A very pleasant and appreciated surprise. ^

I also received an email confirming the same shortly after the phone call.
