Perhaps not always on a legal basis (although it does appear to be in this case..), but it is unrealistic to expect customers to know which policies stated on the website are in effect and which ones aren't.
Now we are going round and round in circles.
  1. Firstly, what was stated om the website does not unambiguously state that it applies to any airline.
  2. Secondly, as a legal matter, the Contract of Carriage trumps what's on the website, as websites can and do have an error. At worst, SpicJet might be held accountable for providing conflicting information on the website. But the OP also did nothing to find out what the policy is.
  3. Thirdly, as stated before, SpiceJet is under no obligation to honour a contract that the OP had with Lufthansa, when it was not a party to the contract.
  4. Fourthly, even assuming that the text on SpiceJet's website is the operating policy here, the OP did not meet the requirements of gthat policy, i.e. "present a valid ticket stating baggage allowance at the counter"
It's not reasonable to assume that another airline will honour baggage policy of another airline.
If the OP saw the "policy" on the website, before purchasing the ticket, the OP knowingly violated that policy by not producing the LH ticket stating the baggage allowance.
If the OP did not see that "policy" prior to purchasing the ticket on SpiceJet, and SpiceJet's position is that the "plicy" stated on the website was an error, the "erroneous policy" is irrelevant as the OP did not know of that policy prior to purchasing the ticket from SpiceJet. Which onece against shows negligence on the part of the OP.

This situation is not black and white. It needs to be evaluated carefully paying attention to finer details.

IMO, the OP's case has no legal standing. The information given on the website is just a summary, which can be ambiguous. The OP FAILED to exercise due diligence in this matter. Maybe the OP didn't want to find out for fear of being told NO. Maybe the OP is clueless. I don't know the reasons.
Does SpiceJet have business class seats? How can SpiceJet be forced to honour baggage allowance for a class of service that it does not even offer, without it being a party to the contract. The only way it can do that is voluntarily. If the OP claims that they would not have bought the ticket from SpiceJet, had the "policy" on the website not led her to believe that SpiceJet had voluntarily decided to honour baggage allowance of any airline from any class, the OP must also have seen the conditions for that to come into effect. The OP did not meet those conditions in entirety.
The OP can beg from the airline, but not DEMAND.
