Love this hotel... here for the third time this year (first time being platinum).

- Didn't have to ask for an upgrade to get one
- Free welcome gift or 500 starpoints
- Free breakfast for two
- Free happy hour 5:30 to 7:30 (everything on the bar menu, all you can drink, they also have non-alcoholic beverages)
- Free parking

Few minor negatives... use of marble in floor/bathroom surfaces cause staining that require a lot of upkeep; its in a very touristy area which means congested, but not nearly as congested as the hotels in sukhamvit area; and steps away from dodgy bars (within 60 seconds of walking out you'll get offered ping pong shows, hahahah).

I wouldn't be surprised if high proportion of plats choose LMBKK as place to stay; might make the availability for upgrades a bit competitive.
