Status year question
My hotel stays this year have been mainly not IHG, hence I haven't been clocking up points or nights to PC.

But come December I will likely be spending a prolonged period at an IHG property that would qualify me for Platinum. Does it mean that I will be Platinum until 31 Dec 2012 only, and my status starts from ground zero from 1 Jan 2013?
