I have visited- it is interesting if you want to go diving- otherwise particularly if you want a luxury hotel I would recommend Samui which is also much easier to get to (nonstop flights from BKK, CNX, etc). There are some detailed discussions in this forum on the hotels in Samui- just write if you need help finding them!
