The maps are shockingly bad in my area - pretty much unusable. Here's a shot of my town:

It doesn't get better when you zoom in. Can you tell the difference between the lane behind the shops and the main highway from London to Edinburgh?

No cycling directions, no footpaths, no public transport, few PoIs, no useful click-trough from PoIs, no street view, no road numbers except on motorways (you really really need these in the UK), very little traffic information.

Pretty much unusable from here. OpenStreetmaps is marginally better for general map-reading but lacks other functionality.

Poor, and enough to drive me to Android if it's not fixed in the next couple of months. Maps is easily the app I rely on most.
