I've had my current 3GS for 2.5 years and planning to upgrade to the 5. Originally purchased it for $200, but had to sign 2-yr contract with ATT. Unlocked it a while ago with Ultrasn0w, but got it officially unlocked with ATT recently. I could sell the phone maybe for $100-150, but I might keep it.
The 4 and 4S did not excite me enough to break contract and upgrade.
+1.. and while seems to be some difference between 3GS and 5, there seems to be few tangible differences for folks from 4S to buy 5..
