You'd only spend squillions to do that if you thought there was some risk.

Here, we have lots of people who are absolutely certain that there is no risk and there's no need to do any of this.

Why have all these other governments got it so wrong, when they could take the advice of all the security experts who frequent this thread/forum and others of its ilk, save themselves an enormous amount of money, and laugh at the stupid Brits to boot?

Or might there actually be something in this, do you think? Which the self-appointed naysayers here have the luxury of pooh-poohing because they'll never have to take a single bit of responsibility for the consequences of their opinions?
