i've been getting this often since DL changed the rules on vouchers to make them non transferrable.
Glad the PM line helped (usually I just call the GM line too).
For future reference, if you select the Cert from the SM account and then go to book the flight it allows you to apply the cert to your flight. But if you select then flight and then add the cert, that's when the issue arises.
