It has me enter the origin, destination, date, and that I'm a CC holder. It even has a place to
enter the marketing carrier.
It clearly says the first bag fee is waived. IMO, it's case closed. I'd seek a refund from UA.
Granted the wording may not be as clear as it should be but did you see the following line in the paragraph immediately above the data entry box?
If this carrier is not United or United Express, different charges may apply
Or this line in the T&C's at the bottom of the page?
