As a family we're currently American flyers. We have the two Citibank cards which earn Aadvantage miles. Consequently, most of our flying is on American. We usually use our miles to upgrade to business or to purchase business class awards. Usually we take 1-2 family trips per year. We're going to Europe in October and AAward availability is very limited. So, some of us are flying on SQ25/26 on purchased tickets. Which FF program should I sign up for. I'm also not opposed to switching one of our cards to earn miles on a different program so that we have options for booking award flights in the future. So, basically looking for best program to earn/spend miles with credit card spend.

(4) Do you have any kind of status at present? What is it? (AA Gold)
(5) What is most important to you in a FFP? (Upgrade with miles from discount economy to business, availability of award seats, earn miles from CC spend)
(6) Which routes do you fly most often (varies from year to year, last year Japan, this year Italy)
(7) Preferred Airlines (no idea)
(8) Do you travel for work or pleasure? (pleasure, family travel)
