What if your first flight is delayed, so you opt to drive to connecting city - thereby skipping first flight. We have flight early Oct BDL - EWR - ZRH. If the weather is bad (as it was yesterday) and our BDL - EWR is delayed (as it was yesterday) - will they allow us to just drive and connect?
