I find that both the AC counter staff and the security at YHZ to enforce rules beyond reason. For example even though I am entitled to three bags and was checking one and my wife was checking one and one of the bags was 2 kilos over weight we were told to reduce the weight.
Similarly, security was not prepared to accept my see through plastic toilet case, which is specifically designed to satisfy security rules (no other airport in the world has had problems with it). YHZ security insisted that my liquids and gels be placed in their zip-lock bag.
That is what I mean by pedantic.
