Correct, I did not pay a cent to have it changed. I am very surprised to see it too since she didn't mention it and all i asked was to request the upgrade. So surprised that I wasn't sure I should call back and ask why I still see "upgrade eligible" for one leg even though it's been nearly 24 hours. The others are now either confirmed V and one is "upgrade requested". Getting an upgrade that far out is already a win in my book (hey I'm only a FO) even if it's not the flight I wanted the upgrade on the most. Is it common to see a discrepancy between DL.com and what an agent will see on my itinerary?
I determined why I was having problems requesting the upgrades in the first place. I usually search for flights with google flights because the interface is fast. When you click the "book with delta" it skips the first step on DL.com where that elusive "request upgrade" checkbox is hidden. I would login while on the page, since it's easier than re-entering all of my info, but it wouldn't pick up that I was eligible and should get to request an upgrade. Guess I need to search for flights directly on DL.com from now on.
