If you want to maximize miles, and have a couple of days on both sides of your meeting, you may want to route through some place like EZE. JFK-EZE-DFW-IAH before the meeting, followed by IAH-DFW-EZE-JFK after the meeting. Not sure this maximizes miles, but it sure is a lot of them.
