Thanks a lot for this clarification. Seems that my outbound flight has a "special offer" for the WT+ upgrade - so if taken I would get a non-upgradable P ticket. The inbound, however, does not have the "special offer" label for the WT+ upgrade - so if taken it should then be possible to upgrade further to CW with Avios, subject to availability of course. Not surprisingly the inbound upgrade price is very much more expensive than the outbound "special offer" though!
