Important to know it that there is the Ambassador Programm, which is only of use if you stay in Intercontinental hotel. It gets you Gold in the Priority Club Programm as well. The later is the FGP (Frequent Guest Programm) for all other chains of the IHG (e.g. Crowne Plaza, Indigo, Holiday Inn, etc.).

Top Tier of the Ambassador Programm is Royal Ambassador and Top Tier of Priority Club is Platinum.
