Regarding who's BIS Elite.

My wife and I were both BIS Plats on CO for many years since we could use routings and add an extra 90 min to our regular trip. DL route structure is differfent and we can't accomplish that, so we use AMEX MQM's and MR's when necessary to maintain Status. Since all of our travel is leisure and paid for by us (and Social Security), we'll gladly convert $ that we spend to MQM's using our AMEX cards and save travel $ for other enjoyable activities. If AMEX MQM's disappeared we'd do more BIS which would take upgrades away from some of you. Those who complain should actually thank us for not flying as much.
