This is truly light year ahead of what UA serves on the same route.... I might have to fly AA on this route, I can tell you that US serves a far better meal than UA serves and even though the flight is only MCO-PHX the flight to LAX is an hour longer, UA just has poor meals as of late..

Warm mixed nuts

First Courses:
Cajun style roasted chicken breast with fresh corn salsa
Served with the Salad - A combination salad featuring fresh seasonal greens offered with ceaser dressing or premium extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, accompanied by an artichoke, wild mushroom and pea salad

No Bread basket, just a choice of white or wheat served from the plastic bag

Main Course, choice of:
Beef Fillet - Grilled fillet of beef with a Merlot sauce, served over truffled wild mushroom ragout, and roasted potato wedges and baby squash
OR
Stuffed Lasagna Roll - Lasagna pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach, topped with a creamy tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella

Dessert -Ice Cream Sundae - Ben & Jerry's vanilla ice cream with a choice of hot fudge, butterscotch or seasonal berry toppings, whipped cream and pecans
OR
Fruit and Cheese

Light refreshment - menu had fresh fruit but none offered just the warm

And no Pre-Arrival Beverage of Chilled sparkling or still water with a fresh citrus garnish as indicated ont he menu.

Service was a bit scattered with a rift going on between a FA in the back and the head FA. Could hear all the bickering from 3E. The head FA spent most of the time bossing everyone around and reading the paper.
