I believe in performing acts of random kindness and appreciate that such acts are done without expectation of being rewarded or reciprocated. The forgoing statement makes this post both ironic and contradictory. Over the years, as an Elite member, I have, among other things, given upgrade certificates and ML lounge passes to total strangers and sponsored military members to the lounge. (I am retired military).

I recently booked a return trip to England. In the interval I forgot that 68 years old men should not be engaging in certain physical activities and managed to screw up my back. I have credits for one a way upgrade, which has cleared, for the YYZ-LHR leg on Sep17. Any one who has had back problems will understand my desire for a J class seat on the return leg.

This trip to England will be my last air travel for 2012. Regardless of the outcome of this request I have 11 Upgrade Certs and 4 ML lounge passes which I am willing to donate to anyone who can use them. Please PM me if you can help me with an upgrade or can use the cert’s or lounge passes.
