I suppose what I'd like to know - and what I suspect we can't know at this point - is whether an Apple unlocked A1430 model will work on the bands not specified. Whether it cannot receive those bands or whether they're simply locked out at point of sale for contract customers, but actually available on an unlocked handset.

Financially, makes more sense for me to buy in the UK than the US. I'd need to buy it from Apple in the UK.
