Doesn't bmi have round dishes?
You may be right about Almaty being via Tblisi, I was merely listing the destinations.
I have been told that on some of these routes, the 320 will be used and it will be fitted with flat beds. That is what BA management are telling all the SCCMs on our training course for this service.
Not that I should need to justify my posts because I am after all just someone who will be operating these flights, so what would I know! However here goes just for you BA 6501.
Yes BMI do use round dishes but the food is cooked in foils and plated in the galley. That is not the method BA use in their CW service as the food is heated in the dishes. On these flights and in order that the meals can be heated in the same way as on all other BA CW services, the dishes have been designed in a rectangular shape, so that enough will fit into the smaller Airbus ovens. The food and quantity will be exactly the same as all other CW services.
