Last Saturday I was on a flight from ORD-GRR that showed on time, yet no plane. I walked up to the GA who between gabbing with other co-workers seem to have no time for me or others. I finally was able to ask what if any delay and she pointed to the empty ramp and stated "we dont have a plane yet". WOW thank you captain obvious!! finally after 30 minutes after we were supposed to board they announced they are bringing a plane from the hanger. 20 Minutes later it arrives. NOT ONE person said hey we apologize, not the GA, not the Captain/FO nor the FA's on board. This now seems to be standard procedure! I will make status with UA but I will start booking on AA if this continues.
By the way this is the 6th week in row that I have been on a ORD-GRR flight that is late. I know this is hearsay but I happened to sit next to a AA pilot deadheading back to GRR a couple of weeks ago and we talked about the constant delays. He stated if I thought it was bad think of his situation flying back and forth when he cannot get on a AA flight.
