I think I screwed up. I booked tickets to Oahu and Maui for the end of January 2013. Since then I've read that the snorkeling is not that great during that time period.

I probably need to find somewhere else to visit for 10 days.

My main goal for the trip is to be near clear, warm water for snorkeling and swimming. I'd like to be able to be in the water daily for a few hours. The rest of the day I'd like to have access to modern amenities and hearty meals. Not looking for partying.

Would anywhere in the Caribbean fit the bill for me?
