That is definitely what I would do.

Also, if the revenue ticket is only $130, then the net additional cost (vs. taking the train, which costs a total of $30.50) is only $99.50.

Totally worth it in my book.

Not only will you save yourself a nightmare, but you will be far better protected in case of an IrrOps.
