I cannot for the life of me see how this change of equipment/terminal (don't even give them the idea of moving this service to LGW) was dreamed up within BA by anyone other than a GCSE student on work experience!
Indeed this was my point above. Whilst J was quite light last Friday with about 30% of seats free, it was still more full than the maxium size of the A321 J cabin would accomodate. In addition F was completely full.
My return flight saw J completely full. Unless the flights are full of people paying nothing at all for their tickets I fail to see the commerical logic in this shift.
