Just an FYI for Google to index. If you go from silver to gold, gold to silver, etc... and you already have reservations most people said you need to call Delta to have them remove and add your frequent flyer number so any existing reservation reflects your new status. I found an easier method. If you have not checked in (not available after that) you can simply load that flight up -- the same place you can change seats, etc..) and if you scroll down there is a place to update / change the frequent flyer number. Simply copy your number as shown already and then edit (replacing with the same number) and hit submit. It gave me an error the first time and then took it the second time. Bingo... The ticket should now show your new status.
