Why are Hotel Prices the Same No Matter How/Where You Book?
Because the hotels and reservation services fix the prices and cut-off anyone that tries to discount!

Interesting anti-trust complaint filed in US District Court in San Francisco descries how the industry operates - including how the fixed prices allow them all to offer "best price" guarantees.
