It's more a principle thing than anything else. Very poor customer service. Next time I will hold up the line and have them write a letter on United Airlines letterhead, then when done, find a supervisor to sign off on it as well, including copy of their badges. Can you imagine how long this would take if all 100-200 passengers did this? Wow.
