Regadless of right or wrong, the YUL convention does not govern lounge access. Arguing the protctions of it are somehow covering addl benefits not related to transportation of persons or cargo seems like an example of smeon who doesn'see the forest for the trees. It is about liability, not about supplimental benefitsnot covered.
