I'm having the same issue with single passenger, single segment itineraries. I'm flying JFK-SFO later this year, upgraded with an RPU. Everything cleared immediately after I applied the RPU and the res shows me correctly in "R" class. My seat assignment started bouncing back to coach immediately after I first chose a biz class seat assignment. I've re-assigned it several times on line and it keeps bouncing back to coach
