You can take solid food, but not soups, stews, etc.
In general, any "malleable" product is forbidden, for example, a soft cheese (Camembert type) is not allowed cabin, a hard cheese (such as Gruyère) is permitted. Another example, the foie gras is not allowed. These products can be purchased without restriction in duty-free shops.
