Shall I go on?
you think a 2 class lie flat C is worse than a 3 class barca lounger? this has got to be a minority opinion.

More people on the plane is bad? This board is obcessed with widebody service - that will have a lot more than 40 people on a plane with you.
This post is so weird that I don't know if you're joking or actually trying to respond to UA-NYC's points.

1. Why do you assume that UA-NYC is comparing 2-class BF to 3-class C, as opposed to, for example, 3-class F?

2. 3-class C barca lounger is still better than 2 class Y, which will be the alternative for many people because the reduction of premium seats and large increase in Y seats means much more competition for upgrades. (And, if you think 2-class Y is better than 3-class C, that "has got to be a minority opinion.")

3. Do recognize that (a) changing equipment to a widebody, which carries more seats, is very different from (b) cramming 40 more seats into a narrowbody? Your widebody argument is a red herring because the change under discussion has nothing to do with the number of aisles--instead, it's adding 40 more seats into the exact same plane.
